Thank you for choosing L’Atelier du Chocolat. Our pastries and chocolates are handcrafted in small batches and are short‑dated, perishable food items. For food safety and quality reasons, all sales are final.

Because our products are perishable:

  • No returns

  • No exchanges

  • No refunds

This applies to nationwide shipping and pick‑up orders.

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Order details and shipping address

  • The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for orders that are delayed, lost, or undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • If a package is returned to us for these reasons, original shipping charges are non‑refundable, and additional shipping fees will apply if you request reshipment.

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the incorrect items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Email us at stephan.latelierduchocolat@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of:

    • The product

    • The inside and outside of the box

    • The shipping label

After reviewing your request, L’Atelier du Chocolat may, at its sole discretion, offer:

  • A store credit, or

  • A replacement order (subject to availability and shipping conditions)

We are unable to offer refunds or replacements for minor cosmetic imperfections (for example, slight cracking, smudging, or shifting of items during transit) that do not affect taste or safety.

Allergens and product information

We list ingredients and major allergens to the best of our knowledge.
It is the customer’s responsibility to review this information and contact us with any questions before placing an order.
We cannot provide refunds or accept returns for reactions or dissatisfaction related to disclosed ingredients or allergens.

Weather and carrier delays

We take care to pack our products appropriately for transit. Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier:

  • Delivery times and conditions are outside our control.

  • We cannot offer refunds for carrier delays, weather‑related issues, or packages left unattended after delivery.
